Amplus' Management Team

Chan Wee-Piak
President and CEO
A founding member of Amplus Communication. He was the founder and former CEO of Agilis Communication Technologies, and his resume includes 28 years of experience in managing technology companies, including 18 years as a successful CEO of various companies. Prior to entering management, he worked for many years as an R&D engineer in the development of military microwave systems, radar and flight simulator systems. He obtained his B.Eng (1st class Hons) and M.Eng from the National University of Singapore.


Leon Koh

Senior Vice-President and General Manager
A founding member of Amplus Communication. A graduate from King's College, London, he worked for 12 years at M/A-Com UK, of which he was Chief Technologist of the Advanced Technologies Group for 7 years. He was involved in the development of advanced technologies in the area of microwave/millimeter-wave components and subsystems, and instrumental in establishing the group as a specialized design and manufacturing center in the advanced field of millimeter-wave technologies. He has published papers on fin-line switches, waveguide image rejection mixer, Faraday rotational isolator, amplifiers and frequency multiplier. He then joined Chartered Microwave as deputy CEO. Later, he was a founding member and deputy CEO of Agilis Communication Technologies.

Benny Lie
Senior Vice-President
A founding member of Amplus Communication. He was a founding member and part of the senior management team of Agilis Communication Technologies. He has 10 years of experience in product design, development and management of commercial and military RF, microwave and millimeter-wave components and subsystems. He obtained his B.Eng (1st class Hons) and M.Eng from the National University of Singapore.


Mark Lim Teng-Lye

Vice-President (Engineering)
A founding member of Amplus Communication. He has a B.Eng (1st class Hons) and an M.Sc (Industrial Eng) from the National University of Singapore, and an M.Sc (Microwave) from University College London. He started his career as an ASIC designer. He then switched to designing K-Band Dielectric Resonator Oscillators, microstrip Band Pass Filters and amplifiers. He was a founding member of the first microwave company (Chartered Microwave) in Singapore and helped found Agilis Communication Technologies, where he was part of the senior management team. He has spent three and a half years as a Lecturer in Nanyang Technological University. He has extensive experience as a microwave designer, designing solid state oscillators, amplifiers and frequency converters for VSAT and Digital Radio outdoor units and for military radar systems.


Pang Eng-Poh

Vice-President (Technology)
A founding member of Amplus Communication. He was a founding member and the senior management team of Agilis Communication Technologies. Pioneer of the first microwave company (Chartered Microwave) founded in Singapore. Has 18 years of RF and microwave experience in component and subsystem development. His specialty is in synthesizer design, transceiver development and microwave testing. The products developed include fast switching synthesizer for use in defence systems, local oscillators for use in microwave radio and VSAT transceivers. He has been awarded both the National Technology Award and Chew Set Chai award in 1994 for the VSAT ODU development. He obtained his B.Eng from National University of Singapore.


Michael Khor Eu-Ee

Vice-President (Systems)
A former engineering officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, where he attained the rank of Major. He was a key member of the team that implemented the national sensor master-plan. He was a member of the senior management team at Agilis Communication Technologies, where he set up the radar and defence electronics division. In all, he has 18 years of experience in radar and defence electronics system design, project implementation, maintenance and logistics. He obtained his B.Eng from the National University of Singapore in Engineering and has also worked for periods on attachment with various radar/EW suppliers.
